FXstreet.com (Córdoba) – Markets in the US ended the week with sharp gains. The Dow Jones rose from 8100 on Monday to levels above 8740 on Friday. Crude-oil also post big gains, showing strong sings of recovery. This context benefited high yield currencies and weakened the Dollar and the Yen. Greenback lost ground for the week against the Euro, but is still moving without a clear direction and far from the lows of the 2009. EUR/USD rose to 1.4150 during the American session but rebounded and fell to 1.4100. Against the Yen, Dollar rose on Friday but was not able to break above intra-week highs at 94.45.
